Oklahoma middle schoolers’ work lifts off into outer space

CPN member Addison Taylor & science partner Mayzie Burke won the chance to send their experiment to the International Space Station. They advanced to the finals competition in their age group. After presenting for the last time on Dec. 6, 2019, they found out they won in Jan. 2020.

CPN Language Department receives $200k grant

The US Department of Interior’s Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development awarded $3 million as part of its Living Languages Grant Program. Eighteen tribes across the country received funding, including approximately $200,000 to the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, which will extend its language learning resources.
