Join District 2 Legislator Eva Marie Carney for a District 2 Fall Feast on Saturday, November 12 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Little Falls Presbyterian Church, Arlington, VA. Bring favorite dishes (with recipes, if you'd like) to share. Turkey and a vegan main dish, as well as beverages will be provided. We will visit, make traditional rattles out of elk and bison hide, and share a family meal. Children are welcome, and the craft is appropriate for children eight and up with one-to-one adult supervision. Please RSVP by November 5 to evamariecarney@gmail.com or 202-281-4373.

This event on January 26, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. by Citizen Potawatomi Nation and the Pottawatomie County Health Department will address the importance of vaccines in children and adults. Speakers include Lori Crow, MD, Pediatrician at SSM Health; Kellie Clark, RN, Assistant District Nurse Manager at OSDH (D6); and Christine Venci, LPN, Citizen Potawatomi Nation.
