Although AdoptUSKids looks for minority professionals or those working with minority populations, CPN member Kendra Lowden is the first in the program’s history to be both an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe and also an employee working for a tribal nation.
In summer 2020, Grand Travel Plaza Manager Diana Dotson reached 35 years of employment with Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She has held many different titles throughout her time at the Tribe, but customer service remains the centerpiece of her career.

Attending Family Reunion Festival as a child exposed Ragan Marsee to Bodéwadmimwen for the first time, which inspired her to connect with her Potawatomi culture and language. Today, she serves in the CPN Language Department as an aid, teaching students Bodéwadmimwen.
