DESCRIPTION:The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Health Services Diabetes Program will offer this class for individuals with diabetes to review and discuss the 7 self-care behaviors of diabetes: healthy coping\, healthy eating\, being active\, taking medications\, monitoring\, reducing risks\, and problem solving. \nParticipants will be able to schedule follow up appointments with diabetes educators\, dietitians\, foot care nurses\, or with the pedorthist to order shoes if needed! \nParticipants will receive: \n– Nutrition Voucher– Canvas bag– Medical ID bracelet– Medication holder– resources and more! \nCall the Diabetes Program at 405-214-5117 to register today or with any questions.
