The seventh annual Native American College and Career Fair will be held on Thrusday, September 8, 2022, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at FireLake Arena. This event is free and open to the public.

Healing over time: Understanding the neurobiological changes of addiction and recovery

Citizen Potawatomi Nation Behavioral Health Services this free community event on understanding addiction and its impact on the brain. There will be a presentation by Dr. Julio Rojas, Ph.D., LADC, followed by a panel of individuals at various stages of recovery.

How to Make Tobacco Pouch Necklaces

Learn to make tobacco pouch necklaces with buckskin and edge stitch it with seed beads on September 19 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Cultural Heritage Center. A 1-hour lunch break will be provided. RSVP is required; please email chcculturalactivities@potawatomi.org. Participants must be 18 years or older. 

Open Cultural Sewing Classes

Bring your ongoing sewing or beading projects to class to receive assistance from the Cultural Activities Coordinator, Leslie Deer, on September 19 and September 26 from 2-3 p.m. Class is free to attend.
