Bozho
(Hello),

Wow, lots of information today. Interesting how the only thing you can count on is change. We resist change yet is the very thing that provides growth in our personal, professional and spiritual lives.

This month has certainly been one of change and opportunity for me.

The P.O. Box 5905, Mesa, AZ 85211 has changed to 270 E. Hunt Highway, Suite 16 #229, San Tan Valley, AZ 85143-4964. It was difficult to give up the old P.O. box as it is an address I have had for 25 years. To get my mail, I needed to drive an hour and a half just pick it up. I bought a house and moved to San Tan Valley over 10 years ago and have been making that drive ever since. I hope you will forgive the change.

With the change of technology, we no longer need to have the Citizen Potawatomi Nation District 5 office as we can have our meeting wherever we are. That is a huge savings to the tribe, and I work from home as we did as regional directors.

My email address is the same: euniceilambert@gmail.com.

My telephone number is the same (cell): 480-228-6569 and you can call or text anytime as I keep it with me.

District meetings

District meetings for Lubbock, Texas and Denver, Colorado are as follows for 2017. You should have received your invitations. If you have not by the time the Hownikan reaches you, please let us know if you have had a change of address. Please know we love you all and want you there.

You can contact Gene Lambert via any of the above resources or Jamie Moucka at 1-800-880-880 to RSVP.

The Lubbock meeting is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 14 at Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts at 511 Avenue K, in Lubbock. Lunch will be served, and we are planning a tour of the arts center and lots of activities. I know you will enjoy it, so bring the entire family.

The Denver meeting is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 28 at Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel, 3801 Quebec St., in Denver. Lunch will be served and we will have lots of home updates.

Hopefully, all of you who attended last year had an enjoyable day and will inspire others to not only attend but bring family members. It is always a wonderful time for me to see longtime friends and family since we have been at this for so many years. (We don’t need to discuss how many.)

I would like to point out if you belong to other districts and find yourself visiting family during these dates you are also welcome to come along.

Additionally, it would be a great idea to let me know of any special days you have in your family you would like to have acknowledged during the meeting: weddings, births, special promotions, etc. Everyone would love to hear your good news or important changes in your life. Just let me know ahead of time.

It is exciting, and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Please feel free to contact me by phone or email should you have any questions.
