The Citizen Potawatomi Nation welcomes seven students pursuing higher education to the Tribal grounds for six weeks for the Potawatomi Leadership Program. Meet the class of 2023.
The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Department of Education selected Sarah Dunigan as the second recipient of the Michael John Kennedy Scholarship. She attends the University of Oklahoma in Norman and takes pride in three generations of relatives who served in the military throughout the 20th century.
The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Department of Education is accepting applications for the second session of Mdamen, the Tribe’s new leadership program that helps participants establish and maintain a strong connection to their Potawatomi heritage. The application period opened on October 1 and closes November 15.
Citizen Potawatomi Nation veterans have a legacy of service to their country and Tribe. For Michael John Kennedy, his giving spirit lives on even after his passing in late May 2021 through a newly formed memorial scholarship.
