2021 Year in Review

2021 brought productivity and uplifting news from CPN. Big developments ranged from new ways for Tribal members to connect digitally to an impactful agreement between local governments to improve the community’s future.

Cotton Wrap Skirt with Applique Class

Community Drive Thru Flu Shot Clinic

CPN is hosting a Community Drive Thru Flu Shot Clinic on October 9 starting at 8 a.m. at the CPN Community Development Center across the street from FireLake Discount Foods. Available while supplies last and for ages 3+

Open Cultural Sewing Class

Have an ongoing sewing or beading project that you need help on? Attend our Open Sewing Classes. Cultural Activities Coordinator, Leslie Deer, will be on hand to offer her assistance! Classes are: Tuesday, November 16, 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2-3 p.m.

Potawatomi History and Research Demo

Wanting to learn more about your Potawatomi heritage and the Tribe’s history? On July 29 from 1 to 2 p.m., join Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s Cultural Heritage Center staff via Zoom to hear about new programs and online offerings to help Tribal members build family trees, view historical documents and more! Attend the Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s Cultural Heritage Center’s Cotton Drawstring Dance Bag Class on July 13, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and learn how to make a simple cotton drawstring bag embellished with an applique design.   RSVP to [email protected] All classes are free to attend.
