The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Housing Department (“CPNHD”) is seeking sealed bids for the remodel of 20 showers in Rossville, KS.
Bids are to include:
- Removal of the existing shower, toilet, hot water tank, and disposal of all debris.
- Installation of a new chair height toilet.
- Installation of a new 40-gallon water tank.
- Installation of a new Delta or Moen valve, showerhead, and drain, all in chrome finish.
- Installation of HardieBacker board and wood bracing for grab bars and shower bench.
- Installation of Schluter waterproof membranes on the shower walls, niche, curb and shower floor to prevent water damage.
- Installation of new tile on the shower walls and floor. 2″ x 2″ tile on floor and 12″ x 24″ tile on walls. Apply grout and sealer to the tile.
- Installation of a new glass sliding shower door.
- Installation of additional features, such as a folding shower bench and two grab bars, one (36″) along the back of the shower and one (18″) along the front edge of the shower.

Bids are due no later than 10:00 a.m. on March 10, 2025, at the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Housing Department located at 44007 Hardesty Road, Shawnee, OK 74801. All sealed bids must have a performance bond and bid bond.
Contracts for work under this proposal will obligate the bidder/contractor not to discriminate in employment practices. Also, contracts are subject to the provisions of Indian Preference/Tribal Preference in accordance with 24 CFR 1000.48. Bidders/Contractors claiming Indian Preference/Tribal Preference will be required to submit proof of 51% Native American owned business. Award of this contract is subject to determination by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s eligible contractors. This project will be subject to Davis Bacon Wage Requirements.
