CPN member John George, now an 85-year-old resident of Seattle, continues discussing his career as a stage dancer/singer/actor. Mr. George describes working on the Broadway production of “The King and I” with the late Yul Brynner and in other productions with such stars as Jack Haley (Tin Man in ‘Wizard of Oz’), Shirley McLaine, Shirley Jones, and Giselle McKenzie. Mr. George also discusses the lessons about perserverance and getting training or an education that he hopes young people can learn from his life and career.
