Shane Jett (Cherokee) is the guest. Jett is director of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s Community Development Corporation (CPCDC), a small business development entity. He talks about the small business loans and technical assistance that are available to businesses in Oklahoma that are owned by members of any tribe and to business that are owned by CPN members outside Oklahoma.

Jett also discusses the recently-completed $1.4 million loan to the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma to allow it to purchase the historic Grisso Mansion in Seminole, Oklahoma as a historic preservation and economic development venture. This was the CPCDC’s largest loan in its nine-year history and its first to a tribe or tribally-owned venture. Learn more about the CPCDC at www.cpcdc.org.
