The Tecumseh High School Native Club will participate in Cancer Awareness, or Pink-Out, Week at Tecumseh High School September 12th through 16th. The Native Club will man a Bone Marrow Registry booth at the Tecumseh/Deer Creek football game on Friday night, September 16th.
The club seeks to get more Native donors. Indians, in comparison to other racial groups, have not registered and the likelihood of securing a match for an Indian is almost zero. Donors are needed for all ethnic groups. If you plan to attend the Tecumseh football game, come prepared to spend a few minutes and register (18-60 year-olds). You might be the match who saves someone’s life! Everyone who registers will be entered in a drawing for a Pendleton blanket. The Native Club will also man the visitor’s concession stand during the Friday night game. The club is raising money for the Spring Powwow. Please help us. Tell your family and friends to visit us at the visitor’s concessions stand on the east side of the stadium. Additionally, we could use some volunteers for the booth and the concessions stand.
