Josh Peltier – Ballplayer Extraordinaire
He might not be quite ready for a Stephen Strasborg-like* Major League baseball debut yet. But, three-year-old Citizen Potawatomi Nation member Joshua Peltier was pictured on the front page of the Shawnee, Oklahoma News-Star recently, thoroughly enjoying a bit of late-spring ball-playing. Josh’s dad is CPN member Tracy Peltier. And, I bet that uniform shirt came from the CPN’s FireLake Designs, which Tracy manages very ably.
*For those who are not baseball fans, Strasburg is the 21-year-old pitching phenom who debuted for the Washington Nationals on June 8 with a five-hit, 14-strikeout, winning performance, relying on a fastball that frequently hit 100 MPH on the radar gun.
