March Regalia Making Classes

During the month of March, the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Cultural Heritage Center hosts a Family Regalia Making Class each Tuesday. Get connected with your heritage and learn how to make appropriate attire for powwows and other ceremonies. Participants will learn bead work as well as applique and ribbon techniques. Instructors will teach the class how to assemble ribbon skirts and shirts, blouses and shawls. Adults should bring their own fabrics. Those 14 and under are required to have an adult present. Prior sewing experience is required.
