Bozho
(Hello),

On Jan. 19, my wife Julia and I attended the gala for the reopening of The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Cultural Heritage Center near Shawnee, Oklahoma. For those of you who may not remember, the center flooded about four years ago.

The evening began with a great dinner, after which we toured all the exhibits on display. What a great job, Kelli Mosteller and everyone who participated in making this a beautiful center. The work you have put into this reflects our culture and demonstrates the love and care that went into the work that was done. Thank you.

Once again, I remind you that this year is an election year, so be sure and request your absentee ballots.

I want to remind you to mark your calendar for May 5. Districts 1 and 4 will hold a joint meeting at Ararat Shrine Temple, 5100 Ararat Drive, Kansas City, Missouri. We have not completed all of the details and will have more information in our articles next month. You will also receive an invitation.

I close this article, as always, with a plea for your contact information. If you do not receive an occasional email from me, it is because I do not have your contact information or you have moved or changed your email address. Due to privacy regulations, the Nation cannot provide me with it.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving as your representative.
