Here’s a look at some of the measures approved by the CPN Legislature at the Dec. 5, 2024, quarterly meeting.

  • A resolution approved the enrollment of 146 new Citizen Potawatomi Nation Tribal members.
  • Legislators approved a resolution for CPN’s application for recognition from the Harvard University Honoring Nations Program.
  • Legislators also approved a resolution for CPN’s application for funding under the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Indian Health Service’s fiscal year 2025 Traditional Joint Venture Construction Program.
  • After an executive session, legislators approved an ordinance amending Title 5, Legislative Branch, of the Tribal Code of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation regarding the disposition of large assets.
